Your dog needs an owner willing to train her.

She did these because YOU haven't taught her how to behave.

Are you actually willing to put forth the time and effort its going to take to train her?

We have a female of this cross. She hates to be left alone and gets very destructive if unhappy. Right now she is eating the picket fence we put up for our pug...if she's on the side you aren't on and the gate is closed, she will chomp her way through in a flash. The pit gives them a nice set of chompers to vent all that frustration with. A highly intelligent dog, very sensitive and determined. You could try crate training her. The crate needs to be extremely sturdy. Our girl had the run of the farm and this worked best. She had a hay nest to sleep in, was never allowed in the house alone. She was quite happy with this approach, fotunately. The second dog helped a lOT as she was less lonely and way less destructive, but still requires kid glove handling.

Every pup has to go thru this "destruction period" :) It's a puppie thingie :) You need patience and redirection skills.
Btw, "getting rid of her" would prove you are a TOTAL failure.
Back to your carpet : dogs and especially pups love to dig, they do NOT differentiate or can understand a difference between your the yard and your expensive carpet.
In general though, the problem is you, and not your pup.
