I think it was kind of a gradual process. Now, when I see questions directed at R&S regulars, I know that I'm one of them, because I recognize almost every person that answers.
I may not have one of those groovy orange badges below my name, but I've been coming in this section regularly for about a year.

I started recognizing faces. And sometimes when i read some answers i went like: "Ah, that Godzilla, he always cracks me up, i remember that time when he was angry that some new kid had misspelled atheist... good times... good times"

the first time I got deleted and Godzilla, who was somebody else at that time, assured me that they would get me back up to a decent level ASAP--she and several others on here let me know I had friends

When I began to learn by answering instead of asking.
I began learning about the greatness inside myself, along with the ignorance I could now correct from my previous answers. I learned to love all.

When I got thirty or so people who wanted to be my contacts and all in the space of two weeks,I couldn't understand what was happening and as I don't know what contacts are for I didn't add them.I still don't know what they are for.
