Ecclesiastes 11:1 says, "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thy shalt find it after many days." What this says is that what we give we will get in return. And we know that what we give we get "good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over." Do not give so that you can get, give so that those that surround us may see your good deeds, and glorify your Father in heaven. It doesn't have to be something huge in measure. Even the simplest act of Christian kindness is smiled upon by the Father. So go out tomorrow and give of yourselves so that God may be glorified. What can you do, or what do you do to bring God glory? God bless you my friends.

No, I feel I am immensely blessed. I lived a life of purposelessness - though I was successful in everything I ever did. But I never felt fulfilled in my life until I lived for God and others.
This is not something I can explain, especially to those who do not believe or have animosity toward Christianity.
I do believe as Jesus said I have life and have it more abundantly - that includes the hardships as well, but now I find most of the hardships are suffered for others rather than myself.

I love your post !! WEll, the thing I love to do is always bring God's word to where they are at. My daughter has a college degree in Biblical Studies and wow, she is amazing. She is usually a very shy person, but when I was struggling with a verse, she would always translate it so that it showed how much God loves us. I think we tend to think of God as honing down on us, just waiting for us to sin, but that is not at all the case. I might say to her, I am reading the Bible but it doesn't seem to sink in,and she would exhort me by saying, "God's word never goes out void" and low and behold as I look back it was placed in my heart for these hard times now. I love God so so so much

I believe in God and I love him so much. He gave his life for me. He has given me hope and a future. His promises are sure, and I am happy to be in Christ. I also tell others of God's great love for them. Be encouraged. look up and keep hope alive.

Think about what is waiting for you after your life in this world.
God is just, remember that. We people just need to learn what is it to have the patience. God's promises are true.

May God bless us

I can honestly say that I've never felt such peace before.
So to answer your question: I feel as if I'm getting alot out of believing.

I'm not allowed to share with you my testimony ('cause then I'm trying to brainwash you' by R&S standards...but take my word: I have no regrets.

God bless.

We have the greatest retirement plan anyone could ever have. How can that be defined as not "getting much from believing"?

Ask not what God can do for you, but rather what you can do for God!
