It would also be nice if there were things you could do to improve your suspension quotient... sort of how DMV lets you remove points on your license by taking a driver safety course.

I'm still working on my first account and won't have another. I havn't got a violation for over a month, the last one was for asking - time for your diaper change yet? - to a really ignorant question. So if the account is suspended for to many violations, what about people that present a totally different view (like me), and get rewarded with violations? Thats not fair either, but you can't beat the system anyway.

This COULD be a good idea, but some of us want to avoid any negative points, and I'm not certain that it would prevent the deletion of accounts, because they tend to slip up on people. I go and try to support people on the appeal board occasionally. (I did so earlier this evening for ALLIZDWAG.)

Do they let us know about each violation? I've never gotten a notice of any kind, but then I'm fairly careful what I post.

lol @ a yahoo answers safety course.

i suggested to them that they send you a formal warning telling exactly what you're doing wrong. not everyone understands what they did wrong in the letter that is usually sent.

Nandina- the thing is, Yahoo interprets the TOS in their own way. what's spam to them isn't spam to someone else.

I'm not sure I'm "on the same page as you with this question" but I always remember that God has a video camera on us 24x7 and I often wonder who believers think they are fooling and not only that, God reads the heart, not a thing has to come out of your mouth nor your brain !!!! BEware

I suppose something simple like "Don't violate the TOS in the first place so you don't have to worry about getting suspended" would be too difficult, huh?
