Maybe he was talking about him ever racing at the Brickyard in a stock car. Who knows. Either he was extremely forgetful and forgot Montoya has raced in F1 and Indy cars here, or he just didn't clarify.

He meant that he'd never been on that track with a NASCAR team. El Montoyota is playing in the big leagues now. We aren't talking about wannna be airplanes with wings and tires so big my two year old could keep it together at 200mph. So, for real racing this was El Montoyota's first shot at Indy.

Yes I heard it and about 15 minutes earlier they had made the comment about him running in the 3 big races at INDY. I guess I didn't think it was that funny. I was watching the race and not grading the broadcast.

Uh....one thing, Montoya has been at Indy in a stock car. It was in jeff g's car, and it was on the road course, but at least, technically, he was at Indy in a stock car.
