If you start in Colorado and go to Missouri , you will not be leaving the USA so you will not need a passport. And you cannot get one in ten days anyway. Go to your post office to get information about how to apply for a passport.
Get a tour book about Missouri at your local bookstore.

On the ticket side, there is a slight chance that you could get a bargain ticket if the planes have empty seats, but you are attempting to book an international flight, so chances of the occurring are slim and none. If you do NOT already have a passport to enter Canada and re-enter the US, you are very lucky in that you live in one of the few US States that issues Enhanced Drivers License and Enhanced ID Cards. If you are to young to have a drivers license, you can go to the local DMV and obtain a State of Washington Enhanced ID Card. This will allow you entry into Canada and return access to the U.S. I believe the cost is about $15.00. Have fun in Toronto....

You will need a passport, visa, naturalization papers or documents for proof of citizenship, as well as a bribe for the airport officials. Wait, Missouri is in Mexico, right?

Go to your local post office and they should offer passports. The process to fill out all of the forms takes about 1-3 hours and if you need it in less than 7-9 weeks you will need to pay about $100 to $200 but it varies from place to place. They will do it in front of you. I really don't think that you need a passport to travel in the U.S. I am almost positive you don't need a passport to go from missouri to colorado in the u.s. All I think you need is an I.D OR Driver's License at the airport.

you only will need the passport if you go by way of Central America. but you will need a special visa (or mastercard) and must pass an IQ test. also as the air is much denser bring some carbon dioxide with you, though you will probably fit in just fine
