I recently had an impromptu date with a man I have been friendly with for a while. The date ended pretty heated and I have seen him at our usual hangout since then and we have hung together but he doesn't call, etc. he has two children that he has pretty often and is not always "free". Do you think it would be alright to send a card with my number in it and a note to give me a call sometime? or would it be better to ask a friend (mutual) for his phone number and call or send a text message. I'm also open for suggestions.

i say go ahead and send the card, the best that could be is something may have happened, and he might be thinking about something else (family issues...etc) and it may have slipped his mind. and if it went as well as you said it did it will brighten up his day when sees it.

u know there are so many rules,i mean after a date, a guy has to wait a while to get back to u, coz they feel at times that they don want to seem desperate, or that they maybe desparate if they cal jus after, so the best thing will be to send a card with ur number and a small msg,and don chase it after that u would have done ur bit, if he aint decent enough to call u after that then he aint worth it, good luck.

Maybe he wasn't as in to you as you were to him. Or maybe he got what he wanted from you and has moved on. If he was really interested in you he would have called by now. Next time you see him at the hangout, start small talk to see where his head is and if he's still interested, if so then exchange numbers.
