In Baguio City, Philippines. A lot of very cheap second hand and slightly used wedding gowns are sold there from P300.00 to P1,000.00. Some are even branded and some are made by popular designers.

David's Bridal has some nice gowns. I have seen some really nice ones at Goodwill, and other thrift shops too for under $75.

I had the least expensive gown of all...it was my "something borrowed" (from a chickie pal), and only cost me to have it cleaned & re-preserved. Turned out to be a gown of 3 generations of her family, and I was so proud to be added to the list of wearers of such a beautiful piece of history.

If this is not an option, I have been amazed at the gowns in consignment shops, Salvation Army stores, etc...You can purchase inexpensively & then take to a seamstress to have it tailored & personalized for you.

Have fun shopping!!!

Your best source, look at your newspapers advertising page, many
adds, where private parties sell their wedding dresses, for very reasonable prices. If this does not give you the desired result, go to a resale shop. You can also check Goodwills, you can get lucky and find a great bridal Dress and formals too. Good Luck.

Keep an eye out for Davids Bridal $99 dress sale.

Also check consignment stores in your area as well as Ebay and Craiglist. There are a lot of designer dresses that people sell because they decided on a different style, so they have never been worn.

Good luck!

Go vintage.
Beautiful gowns, with much better fabric quality than you would normally find, at great prices.
If you live in Melbourne, Adelaide or Sydney you'll have a HUGE range of great places from which to choose.

I kept searching the internet for one, and found nothing. Then, by word of mouth, someone told me that there was a house out in the country that sold wedding dresses deeply discounted-I had to drive about 50 miles to get there-but I found a dress there.

Ask everyone you live near where they bought their dress, or where they would go for a discounted dress-you never know, someone might know somewhere that you can find one.
