This is something missionaries don't like to tell you.

"Long before you were born a program was developed by your creators ... The principal personalities in this great drama were a Father Elohim, perfect in wisdom, judgment, and person, and two sons, Lucifer and Jehovah." (Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, p. 32-33).

"The appointment of Jesus to be Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer…this spirit-brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of mankind" (The Gospel Through the Ages, p.15, 1945).

Why would telling people what the religion really teaches be bashing.. Look where she got the information... Right from the writings of their prophet.. These weren't "anti" Mormon sources but the very top source of that church.. Sad part of what she reported is that that IS what they believe.... Jim

As you are able to tell by potential of examining the different solutions right here, maximum human beings disagree by using fact they have incorrect recommendations or misunderstandings of what those ideals are. it quite is unhappy, what number 0.5-actual or maybe thoroughly untrue statements have been given in answser to this question. I even have yet to locate every physique who isn't spriritually lifeless and close-minded, who has ever found out what Mormons quite have self belief (and you will no longer locate that out by potential of conversing to an ex-mormon or an anti-mormon; all they know approximately is hate), and then has opened his or her heart to God and has earnestly prayed, without their coming to the understanding that it quite is actual. as quickly as the Holy Ghost has testified that to you, there is not any reason to doubt, no count what venom human beings would spew approximately it. sure, no longer each thing taught interior the Mormon church is discovered interior the Bible. yet Mormons have self belief in present day prophets. And the Bible is crammed with examples of prophets giving the human beings new training. do no longer condemn some thing in simple terms by using fact previous prophets have not suggested it. Why might Moses have been given the ten commandments, if God under no circumstances gave us something new? Why might Jesus have taught us a good number of latest issues, if God under no circumstances gave us something new? How unhappy it quite is, that many human beings have self belief God has had no longer something new to declare by using fact the days of Jesus. Why might every physique problem to wish, if God did no longer answer prayers and supply human beings the understanding they desire and the know-how they lack? particularly than reject a clean doctrine, pray with an open heart and ask God whether it quite is actual.

What is not commonly know is the intense friendship and companionship Jesus and Lucifer had. Jesus would always complain, "Your name sounds cooler than mine.." then give him a holy noogy.

Later, when they were fraternity brothers, Lucifer and Jesus parted ways over a silly definition of what was actually considered "Drunk" at a beer bash.

Yes... I know this... Yes I am Mormon... Yes I served a 2 year mission and no, I never minded telling people this.

Let's apply simple common sense. GOD created ALL things right? You do believe this right? Does Lucifer not count as a part of ALL things?

If not I was wondering if you would be so kind as to enlighten me as to where Lucifer came from?

I am guessing if you read Revelations 12: 7 - 9. This speaks of the battle in Heaven. Verse 9 shows that Satan was cast out and no longer welcome and with him his followers. Those who chose to follow his plan. This passage shows that there was a war in heaven and that it was a battle over ideas... as it states that Satan would try and deceive the world... others obviously chose his plan as the passage also states that his followers were cast out with him. These spirits, who were cast out were all part of GODS children. They were cast out and they do not get the opportunity of a body and earth life to prove themselves.

BTW... the best place to learn about Mormons are from those that actively practice the religion and who are not bitter about it and look to decieve as well. You can go to www.lds.org and learn all about it as well... you can click on the lesson plans where doctrine is layed out and read whatever you wish. Then YOU can make an informed decision. When I go to buy a car I tend not to ask a toyota dealer everything about a Honda... chances are his product will suddenly appear so much better.

Oh and Cheese and Rice... no one ever called Adam GOD. There is GOD, JESUS and THE HOLY GHOST or SPIRIT. They make up the God Head. Thanks for the missinformation with nothing to back it up.

To say that Jehovah and Lucifer are brothers is the same as saying that one of our siblings had chosen to take the evil path--something common in most families.

We are all sons and daughters of God the Father. He created us in the pre-mortal existence as His children. Jehovah, or Jesus Christ, was the Firstborn. Lucifer came along shortly after that because of the status he enjoyed in the spirit world as the Son of the Morning Light. He chose to usurp the throne of God the Father and for that was cast out--much the same that would happen if your evil sibling decided to throw out your father and mother from their home, but on a much lesser scale.

The way this question is often posed is done in mockery to our beliefs. Just because a point of doctrine seems alien to others and put up to ridicule does not make it false. The Bible references us as God's children--sons and daughters of God, and all of you have read it if you have read the Bible.

And to make one final correction to the asker: missionaries do not hesitate to explain this to any investigator. I should know because I accompany the missionaries frequently to their appointed rounds. I have explained this point several times in the company of the missionaries to those that might ask.

The only observation that a non-Mormon might make regarding this question is simply to acknowledge that Mormons themselves claim to be nontrinitarian Christians; that is, they believe that Jesus the Son is a distinct person from God the Father. However, Mormons do not believe that the "God" of the so-called "New Testament" is the same "God" of the so-called "Old Testament"; Mormonism teaches that the pre-human Jesus is the "God" or "Jehovah" of the so-called "Old Testament".

This is obviously a fundamentally different theology than the other great nontrinitarian Christian religion, Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach that there are several references to Jesus in the so-called "Old Testament" which indicate that he is distinct from the "God" or "Jehovah" of the so-called "Old Testament". It is not enough to simply assert that a doctrine is true, and so Jehovah's Witnesses reason from the Scriptures on the matter...

It seems rather obvious that the apostle Luke at Acts 4:25-27 quotes from Psalms 2:1,2. Although these passages are part of the Christian and Hebrew Scriptures respectively, BOTH passages make it plain that there is an "anointed one" who is distinct from God. The Psalm plains calls that God by the name "Jehovah" (explicitly using the Tetragrammaton) and Acts plainly calls the anointed one by the name "Jesus".

(Psalm 2:1,2) [David wrote] Why have the nations been in tumult and the national groups themselves kept muttering an empty thing? 2 The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one

(Acts 4:24-27) [Peter, John, and fellow Christians] with one accord raised their voices to God and said: “Sovereign Lord, you are the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them, 25 and who through holy spirit said by the mouth of our forefather David, your servant, ‘Why did nations become tumultuous and peoples meditate upon empty things? 26 The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one.’ 27 Even so, both Herod and Pontius Pilate with men of nations and with peoples of Israel were in actuality gathered together in this city against your holy servant Jesus

Similarly, the apostle Paul at 1 Cor 2:16 and Rom 11:33,34 paraphrases Isaiah 40:13. Note that Isaiah explicitly uses the name "Jehovah" (the Hebrew Tetragrammaton), and 1 Corinthians plainly CONTRASTS the mind of Jehovah with the mind of Christ Jesus.

(1 Corinthians 2:16) For “who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, that he may instruct him?” But we do have the mind of Christ.

(Romans 11:33-34) O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments are and past tracing out his ways are! 34 For “who has come to know Jehovah’s mind, or who has become his counselor?”

(Isaiah 40:13) Who has taken the proportions of the spirit of Jehovah, and who as his man of counsel can make him know anything?

Using a loaded, salaciously-worded question to bash a faith instead of espousing love toward mankind and reaching out with caring arms to teach makes Christianity as a whole look mighty bad in the eyes of outsiders.

We are all children of God. Christians (your faith and LDS as well), Muslims, and Jews all believe this. Christ and Satan took radically different paths, and Satan was cast out of Heaven.

This question / statement is essentially correct, but fails to mention that there is more than one family of Elohim, and more than one family line of the 'Jesus’ figure who incarnated here on Earth.

The Elohim specifically quoted by the questioner are the Annu Elohim, instrumental in creating not humans but the Sirian Annunaki, who have been involved with the various seedings of humanity during our long evolutionary history.

In 7 BC the Annu Elohim entered an Avatar known as Jeshewua Ahambra Jehovani (later recognised as the historical figure Jesus) into Earth's templar, to re-align the Annunaki Souls from Sirius B trapped in human hybrid form, and return to them the potential of ascending out of matter density (going to ‘Heaven’).

The original Guardian Race who seeded the Angelic Humanity healing race into this Time Matrix were the Elohi Elohim, and in 12 BC an Avatar called Jesheua Sananda Melchizedek was entered by them into Earth's templar to, among other things, restore the potential for ALL races to return home.

Jesheua brought with him the gift of the original teachings of the 'Law of One' which taught our direct path of re-at-one-ment with Source.

On every previous occasion when these teachings have been returned they have been suppressed or twisted to reflect the control agenda of the power elite of the time.

As history since 12 BC has shown, nothing has changed, and the original teachings were changed to instead emphasise worship of an external vengeful God accessible largely through an intermediary priesthood.

The Freedom Teachings of the 'Law of One' are being returned to us again at this time, so if you remember catch them if you can.

Henry

PS. Neither of these two Jesus’s was the one crucified.

Yes, I knew that. In a spiritual sense.. We are all spirit sons and daughters of God. Why would we deny or hide such an awesome belief?
