I went there twice to do a lab for one of my college science classes. The museum is huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. I think that it would be fun for children and adults alike. I thought that all of the information was easy to understand and they gave clear explanations of concepts that would otherwise be very difficult for me to understand. Your quintessential dinosaur museum, with lots of huge displays and very interactive. I would definitely rate it among New York's must-go museums!

I love it there!

Its actually very interesting just to go and browse. From the prehistoric animals on the very top floor, to the reptiles and amphibians (very cool), to the Hall of Ocean Life, theres so much to see. The peoples exhibit bores me for some reason, but seeing the bones of ancient humans is really cool. The Hayden Planetarium is my favorite place in the whole museum. It has interactive exhibits on the bottom that suprise me every time I'm there. The best part is the Big Bang, you go into the sphere and watch the show, and then walk the timeline.

Believe me, if you like to read, your going to need a whole day there.

My camp had a trip there once and it's a very large and interesting museum but I'm not really into it. Especially the history of dinosaurs and stuff.

I took my cousin there because she wanted to see it. She found it fascinating, then again she's a science major.
