Six million dollars rofl.
Today USA has to pay that much in accumulated interest on it's national debt every 30 minutes.
Yes btw.. I'd like to see repeats. I used to get bought loads of 6 million dollar man t-shirts with a photo of him in action on the front... but they would fade and rub off like in the very first wash which took a toll on my childhood expectations. They had the technology for making him do all the good stuff but not for making a decent t-shirt.

I loved that show, I was in the six million dollar man fan club, it came with an autographed picture of Colonel Steve Austin.
I also had the action figure that had the magnified eye, you could look through the peep hole in the back of his head, and see thru his eye. It also had a removable arm plate that showed all his bionics underneath. COOOOL, the good old days.

Maxwell was contracted to Mumbai Indians for $7,761,700 Dollars, so he's already over the mark. Assuming of course that you calculate the amount in Hong Kong Dollars. :-).

Hey, Wonky: you're in the wrong forum. This is the TV Consumer ELECTRONICS forum, where most discussion is regarding TV electronic and operational issues - the boring stuff.
What YOU want is the "Entertainment& Music-TV" forum, where they discuss TV programing, gossip, and exciting, intellectual issues like you raise here. Post there and I'm sure you'll get 3X the number of responses you got here. The only benefit to your posting here is some people got to respond to a question they half way understood. LOL

They`d need to rename it - Six Million Dollars doesn`t buy as much now as in the `70s LOL

I surely do remember the show. I used to watch it with my sons who were young at the time. Steve Austin was their hero. There are other shows I'd rather have back on.

Yep, only just!! Yeah, I wouldn't mind the repeats, but it probably would seem rubbish now...reminds me of Wonder Woman that was on at the same time....now that would definitely be crap now!!
Used to love The Monkeys too;o]
