Is it wrong of me to give my number to a guy with a girlfriend?

I have liked this guy for a long time (about a year now) and he likes me too. But he's had this girlfriend for two years. He's always flirting with me, smaking my butt, running up to me and grabbing my sides, and just saying remarks. Well him and his girlfriend broke up and he asked for my number, so I gave it to him. Well we were calling each other talking to each other. But now he and the girlfriend are back together, but he's still calling and I can't help but wanna talk. He's always told her he'd get rid of her for me and he even flirts with me when the girlfriend is right there. Was it wrong of me to keep answering , and what should I do?

The only reason he got back with her was so she'd quit calling him every hour crying saying to take her back.

No its not wrong because obviously his girlfriend is crazy! The kind of flirting your describing it physical flirting so if hes verbally flirting also than go for it! He probably considers himself single because of his whiny girlfriend and he wants you I can tell. But don't keep avoiding the question whether or not you should do this or not because you should. If you intervine between both of them then he will get the courage to tell her to go away because he knows you'll be there waiting for him.

Sorry but he sounds like a player. If he really likes you, he would dump the girl. It also sounds as if he has little respect for women if he is flirting with you in front of her. It is likely this behavior will continue even if you end up dating him. I expect you wouldn't like it if he flirted with another girl while YOU were his girlfriend. Also you don't just get back together with someone because they are crying. It sounds like he wants his cake and to eat it too!

YES!! I person you would give any time with must be worth of YOUR time, so you are better then that and you have a lot more to offer then a guy that all ready has another.
Tell him you are not interested and get interested in someone who wants ONLY you, do not let him smack your butt and pitch your sides.. That is disrespectful to his girlfriend and if he was your boyfriend you would not like him doing this to another girl

I would steer clear of him. Sorry but who wants
a man that obviously cant be trusted. He had
a long term girlfriend and he was calling and flirting
with you? What happens when you and he are
together and he starts flirting and giving out
his number to other girls?
Put yourself in his girlfriends shoes and think how
you would feel.
And of course he would tell YOU that he only got
back with her to stop her phoning him, but in
reality, I am sure it is quite different. You dont go
bak into a relationship just to stop someone bugging
you. If it is over....it's over. Period.

Yeah its wrong in my opinion, And what makes you think you'd be any different to the girl he is with now if u 2 got together. If he's capable of doing it to her, plz save urself the worry, and find someone else. he obviously likes her a lot to be back with her, crying or not. move on, and get ur own guy.

His attracted to you but if he meant what he said that he would dump her for you then why hasn't he done it already? He loves the other girl but he will and probably always has cheated on her. You should not be the cause of another breakup between them.... gossip flys and you don't want to be part of it. Tell him that if and when he breaks off with her permanently, you will then talk with him but not until then. He is shouldn't have his cake and eat it too..... you are being played and if he wants to make it right and you don't want to be caught in the middle, tell him not to call until he is a free man.

You do what you would want someone else to do. In other words, if you had a boyfriend who was talking to someone else, what would you want that girl to do.
