This is for those who only want to see the bad in every person, place, thing, belief, etc etc. Why do you enjoy the feeling of hatred? Why do you want to continue to ignore anything good about a group or people or a place you've heard about, especially when you've never been there and didn't bother getting to know the people you hate? This is something most of us are curious about. Most people are naturally inclined to feel empathy and look for the good in all things. So what went wrong with your life that you project it onto an entire group of people? Everywhere there are good and bad people. You can't say any one group is the only reason or majority, because that does not explain the rest of the world or the history before any people. Is anyone else curious about this?

The only people I hate on this planet are people I once loved or at least cared about and knew well.
I contend you can't love or hate someone unless you really know them. Hating a whole group of people is just plain stupid.

Yep. Constantly wonder about this! I'm talking about on here. People who 'hate' other groups of people because of different beliefs are downright bullies. But on here it's easier because it's all anonymous. I've said it before, but I'm betting a lot of them don't talk this fierce face-to-face. I disagree with some people, but don't HATE them. Usually I feel sorry for them that they have that much hatred in their lives. Express your opinion, but you don't need to keep egging them on! Good grief. You can tell some people just ask questions and go "Ha!Ha! I bet this will piss them off!" Sad, really. In my physical world, when I see people go into a tirade of hate for other people, they usually won't even let someone else speak their point of view. All you can do is ignore them, and as a christian, pray for them.

I totally agree with you about the haters, but I think I really have a clue what hate is all about.
Hate stirs the blood, it excites the mind, it stimulates the person and they find they can get a reaction out of people better when they exhibit hatred than if they love. It's almost like a drug in that it becomes a habit, it's what works for them. That's why.

Great question! I wonder this all the time about those who use the Bible to justify their own homophobia. There are good and bad in every group, including gay people.
To not like someone, but refuse to take personal responsibility for that dislike is also wrong. We see that when these same people, upon being confronted about their hate, jump back and exclaim, "Oh, it's not me saying that, it's God. If you have a problem with it, your problem is with God, not me." God is not meant to be a crutch to be used to justify hate, bigotry and exclusion. People [professing to be Christians] need to take responsibility for their own prejudice and work to overcome it since it goes against one of the most important rules in Christianity: Treat others as you want to be treated.

In fact
We can't listen people that we dislike
We can't see the good side of people that we dislike
and we can't accept truth that they bring
Sometimes I feel I do that to, not hating, only dislike
I'll try to fix it
thanks for the reminder sister!

"Arewethereyet" knows exactly what she's talking about because she hateful and a liar. She is the biggest fake and hyporcrite on YA. Don't believe anything she says. She enjoys stirring up hate by using her devilish charming ways inwhich she gets a rise from. She thinks she's all that because of who she's married to but she is a nothing. Ignore this demon and her pathetic ways.

First I would like to say I am glad you stayed. Christian theology sayss the reason people are like this is that it is part of our sinful nature which we can not overcome without G-d's help. ( Watch how many thumbs down I get for refering to G-d.)
