MySpacer,
As long as you ATM Card has the visa or Master Card Logo, yes, you may use. You probably already know this, but just make sure that there are funds in you account and more importantly that they are available.

I'm thinking that perhaps you have not purchased anything from iTunes yet. Once you do, Itunes will prompt you for a payment method.

Now, If you have already created an account, then from the iTunes store home page, find a link that says, "account" it will take you to a page that displays you informations such Apple ID and mailing address. Click on "Edit Payment information" and add the credit or debit card of you choice. Once you are finish click the "DONE" button to save your information.

Depends if it's a Debit/Check card or just an actual ATM card. Visa Check Cards and Debit cards can be used. As long as it says Visa, Mastercard, etc. on it. If its only ability is to be used at an ATM then no, you cannot use it. Most banks give you the option between getting the two, and most people choose the debit/check card.

Is it an ATM only card (requires a PIN)? Or is it a debit card (check card) -- Visa logo, can use it at stores, gas stations, etc?

The online site might take a debit card. Personally, I think it's a real bad idea to use a debit card for online purchases. If you have problems, and there are all sorts of overbilling problems, the money is gone. You can dispute and wait to see if the bank returns your money.

if it is an atm card, it will be just for a savings account. what does the card say on it? if it says atm it won't work online. if it says debit or even credit you are fine. If you want to have a debit card you have to have a checking account!

You mean ATM as a debit card? Of course you can use it as long as you have money in your checking account.
