I currently have two credit cards with a Credit, one with u.s.bank and a personal line of credit with usbank as well and a Department store credit cards. Last time I checked my credit score, it was at 835. That was before my usbank credit card and line of credit. Although I mostly use one credit and two of them are zero balance, would having four cc and a line of credit hurt my score? On the one that i use the most my balance ranges from 20%-40$ of my limit. It goes up and down? Expert advice please!

credit score places say having 4-6 credit cards active at the same time helps not hurts your credit score. having a line of credit shouldnt hurt it, just don't abuse it. Active credit cards are ones that have been used within 6 months, fyi. they prefer if you use about 25% of your balance, not more, not too much less. That will give you optimum credit boosting! it looks like you are doing a fantastic job, but beware of having too many store credit cards, as those aren't looked at in the best light generally. hope this helps!

It doesn't make any difference I have more than a dozen and still have decent score. Any score over about 760 is fine don't sweat it if you have a margin so if you lose a few points it is still over 760.
