This is all dependent on *where* this house is going to go. If you're talking about buying an existing home, you need to check with a real estate agent in your market, go onto a real estate website, and read the classified ads.

If you already own the land, then you can check sites for home kits and talk to custom builders to get a good idea on what it will cost.

It's relative to the area you live. I don't know that Tennesse is terribly high per square footage but a similar home in California could cost $1 million, a home in Michigan maybe $400,000 depending on the area. It's all relative. What are your comparables in your area. Check with a real estate agent, look at your newspaper listings for similars. You have to know your area square footage pricing. Do your homework.

Check www.realtor.com and put in those specifications, you'll get some ideas. (range: $125k - $185k)

Find a local realtor's website and check their listings which are similar to your house.

It also depends on age of house, condition, location within the town/city and other factors.

You can call a realtor to give you a market assessment, or call an appraiser and pay to have an appraisal done ($250)

It all depends on where. In an expensive suburb of New York - you could pay $750,000 to $1 million.

In a rural area, $300,000 or less.

Location, condition, supply and demand all dictate price.

You have to include sq. ft. and the general area of the house or no one can answer the question properly.
