My border collie mix runs like deer when she chases deer or rabbits. I know a pure border collie does not run like that. So what other breed does she have?

Some dogs run like that when they are excited. My cousin has a border that does. We say he is "hoppy to see u" lol

I don't think her manner of running is necessarily indicative of her breed mix. The only breed I know of that is said to run like a deer is an Ibizan Hound. It's not really too likely that she's part Ibizan, first because it's a very rare breed and second the breed is so distinctive it would probably have other features that you would notice.

Ever see a English Springer Spaniel run full out. They run or should I say spring like a deer and they go full force. Our Springer Spaniel runs like that and has many times ran very close behind deer a few feet at that speed.

A lot of dogs will run like that when they are excited; it has nothing to do with their breed.
