I don't know, but it could make the cat very sick, because it will lick the oil off.You need to take it to the vet, because you can catch the ringworm from her,and so can any other people or animals that have been in contact with her, or,if you can't,or won't take it to the vet, then get some athlete's foot cream, containing Miconanzole,2 % and apply to the lesions twice a day.Wash your hands well after touching the kitten, and don't let it near anyone ,human or animal, until all of the lesions are gone. The vet is best, though,as the kitten will need deworming and vaccinations as well.

Ok,I just checked, and neem oil IS OK to use, but you're only supposed to put it on the lesions, not dip the entire animal.I would still take it to the vet,but it's up to you.

No it will not. Neem oil will prevent certain insects from being able to reproduce. It also acts as a insect repellent. But it will not get rid of ringworm since ringworm is a FUNGUS.

The solution is simple. Get some cream that is made for athletes foot, like Lotrimin. Put it on the affected area once a day until the fur starts to grow back.... like at least two weeks or more. Keep your hands washed well especially after handling your kitten. That should be the end of it. If you desire you could also get a special wash from a veterinarian clinic to help kill the ringworm spores and to prevent it from spreading.

This is what we did with our kitten after we adopted him from the shelter. First the woman at the shelter washed him up with some special shampoo and then we put the ointment on his little ringworm spots. It cleared right up in a couple of weeks and never came back.

I m not sure what neem oil is but ringworm is a fungus that you can get from the cat I typed in ringworm on the search engine and it brought up several sights You could try that . I would take the cat to the vet and he would give you the correct medicine to get rid of it . There is no need for the cat to suffer without medicine .

Curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought him back.
