There are no restrictions on the amount of cigarettes you can pack in your suitcase for personal consumption when flying from one state to another within the U.S. If your luggage exceeds the air carrier's weight limit, however, they will charge you extra based on their rules.

I've never heard of any restrictions on cigarettes, so you should be able to pack as many as you'd like. I would suggest, however, that you pack them in your carry-on so that they aren't "accidentally" pilfered between your origination and destination. I don't say this as a paranoid freak, I say it because it happened to my sister when flying from Seattle to Boston.

From my own experience, I've taken home two cartons in my carry-on and gotten no hassle.

Be careful on quantity.
You may buy them cheaper where you're going.
NOT in Texas.
We have a $1.00 added tax per pack, $10.00 per carton, in addition to previous taxes.

I don't know, You can buy them every where. I wouldn't load down my luggage with something that is available everywhere.
