Yes, because if you don't then fungi from the foods will build on your teeth and plaque will form. You should brush them after you eat.Ijust brush them after breakfast and before I go to bed.

Many folks out here in Answerland [as in me, for instance] might put it this way: 10-minutes-in-the-morning and 10-minutes-at-night = 20 minutes out of the whole day is a really cheap investment against the dicing with the dental disasters that are waiting for you if you don't. A mouthful of silver, amalgam, gold fillings, root-canals, bridges--installed at hideous expense and considerable discomfort--included with this are horrible sessions with the Dental Hygienist regarding your inflamed and receding gums--FOLLOWED INEVITABLY BY the installation of dentures in middle age. Fun, huh?

20 minutes a day, kiddo...against teeth-in-a-jar? Heckuva deal, IMHO. Brush, already.

Not for cavity reasons but social ones. It probably wouldn't make any real dental difference if you brushed/flossed every three days or so, but people would think there was something seriously wrong mentally with you.

Unless you like the sound of, "Ew...whats that smell?" You should brush them twice a day! Otherwise weird stuff builds up that you don't wanna know about...
