There were these guys that liked me, and I hardly knew them so I didn't like them, but i was trying to get to know them. They don't like me anymore because I wouldn't kiss or make out with them. A lot of my friends just go along with it or whatever, but I can't do that..I'm just not comfortable with it. Now I feel like no guy is going to like me because I'm not comfortable with what they want so early into just meeting them. I dont know what to do..am i too uptight or something?

NO you are not uptight, you are smart. Ever hear of herpes? It can be transmitted if they have sores on their mouth. Don't worry about what they think now, they will respect you more in the future because you respect yourself. Never lose your self respect. I was the same way when I was younger and I was worried that I would never find a guy. Then as I got older more guys were interested in me because I was a good girl and treasured my self respect. The girls that had all the guys in school are not in loving secure relationships, I still keep in touch with some old friends, I however, am in a loving marriage. Don't worry about what they think now, and don't change your values just to have a boyfriend. Girls get pressured into doing things that they shouldn't do, or don't feel comfortable doing. Just keep your values and in a few years guys will be following you around doing whatever they can to get your attention.

Girl i totally admire u for sticking up for what u think is right! if a guy only likes u so that u can make out or kiss u then they dont deserve u. they shouldnt even ask u if u would kiss them or not before they ask u out or else they dont have good intentions. once u find a guy u like just get to know them and then once they ask u out see if u are ready for kissing. if not try hugging or kisses on the cheek. Your not uptight at all. If you don't want to make out with them or kiss them its not your fault. Its a free country and you can do what you want, don't let some guys put you down, cuz its your life.

Your not up tight! You have more home training than some of your other girlfriends. Don't lower your standards to please them. The right guys will come along and respect you for who you are. They may even like you more because you haven't done just any old thing with any old body. Hang in there girl. Your are doing the right thing!

hell no your not too uptight. i felt the same way with my first boyfriend.. i didnt even make out with him, and then when i was 15, my second boyfriend convinced me into having sex with him and everything... i got pregnant and now i have a 4 year old. dont give into it.. stick to what you believe in. eventually you'll find a guy that appreciates you and how you think and feel.

Bravo for you for not going all the way. i do commend you for standing up for your beliefs. It is your body to do with as you see fit there is nothing wrong with you and if they don't like you because you wont go along with what they want than that is their loss and your gain. Stay with your values and the right friends will come along. Also tell them exactly how you feel

Not at all. If those guys can't wait for a little kiss, then they probably only wanted one thing. Think of your problem kissing guys as a tool to keep jerks away :-)

no u should totaly wait till u are ready. don't let any guy pressre u. and don't feel like u have to kiss them to get guys. a guy should just like u and ask u out because of ur personility. its better to get to know a person before kissing them.

girl you aren't the problem, these boys sound immature and are at a stage in their life where they aren't interested in getting to know a girl, just getting in their pants, girls mature faster, but you'll get a good guy and guys will love you because you getting more by keeping them waiting.
