plenty of jobs, in fact theres an acute labour shortage in many areas, certainly in mine, that why we get so many cheap labourers coming over from places like Poland etc,
the reasons are more to do with the ever-increasing cost of living, what is seen by many as the breakdown of the coutnry's social and moral values (personally I think this is rubbish), disillusionment with the current Labour government, the alledged bad effects of continuing mass immigration, the weather being pretty bad for 9 months out of 12...I could go on
also because the UK is an EU member state which means its citizens can freely live and work in for example, Spain,France, Italy and other such sunnier and more appealing places, it is easier than ever to live and work abroad.

If I were a Brit, I'd be abroad to escape the UK's dreary weather. But I'd miss London, and wonder why London can't be located in the Caribbean or Mediterranean.

Like was said in the first post its very easy, being English makes it very easy to relocate, with the EU and the commonwealth it makes moving to those countries very easy and also special treaties with other countries like America.
As well as emigration being high immigration is also quite high. I think it’s a good thing as it brings fresh perspectives and people can bring back fresh ideas when they come back. Things are very similar in Australia there is a very high levels of Emigration away from the country. Which again brings similar benefits.

The country is going down the plughole fast. That's why I'm now living in Australia (I left a very good job in London but the daily stress of living in an extortionately expensive, overcrowded, polluted dump wasn't worth it. That's before you even take the dreary weather into account!)
