My flight always leaves from the furthest gate away...and when I get there, there is a note saying it has been chnged to another concourse...the LAST gate on the other concourse...and I have 10 minutes to get there!! Would be interesting to hear from anybody who actually has had a flight leave from gate 1.

My flight frequently DOES leave from gate 1. But be careful what you wish for. It does so when I am int the smallest airports possible. So I get a small aircraft and coming or going from the middle of nowhere. They usually have only one, two or three gates.

I know... In my case, it always seems to leave from the furthest gate.
