also i am walking 1 mile or an a mile and 1/2

u would probably lose 4 lbs or so, but it will come right back the next week

search for a 1200 diet and stick to that

depends on how you introduce yourself back into a "normal diet" Most oriental cultures fast for a week a year. In America were told this will cause you to gain more weight than you lose. The reason is the brain thinks the body was starved so it will store up fat for the possibility of a recurrence. So you need to keep eating salads after the week is over and slowly add other foods back into your diet, while reducing the amount of salad. If you are the type of person who will eat everything in site after a week of salad, you will do more harm than good.

Humans aren't supposed to eat just salads. Ever hear of the food pyramid?

Plus, all it will do is maybe make you lose a couple pounds for that one week. Then once you go back to regular eating, you'll gain it back. So no, it won't work. Dieting is a lifestyle, not just a week of eating salad.

Crash diets are SO unhealthy for you! Why don't you join a gym and consult a nutritionist or something?

You will be hungry but you will loose weight as long as you do not drown the salad in dressing and try to put just a little bit of protien in the salad, cheese, eggs, or meat. You will still loose weight

I actually worked with a guy about 13 years ago, who was in school to become a chiropractor. He told me that every month, he set aside 7 straight days to do nothing but eat salad and drink water. He said that it cleanses you internally and gave you more energy. As far as the weight loss was concerned, he always looked and appeared very healthy and fit.
