if not - its not gona work.
you have to make permanent changes in your lifestyle (diet and exercise) to get permanent results.
also it doesnt teach you healthy eating habits which is what you need.
you have to eat fresh,unprocessed foods in small meals every 2-3 hours (thats 5-6 small meals a day) to lose fat because that way your body get calories when it needs them and doesnt have any extra left to store in fat reserves.
eat 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day and at least 8 glasses of water.
do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min and do light weight training a few times a week
never deprive your body because all you lose that way is just water weight and muscle which also means you are slowing down your metabolism and will gain it all back

Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight. There are no hunger pangs too.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

if u follow the Slim Fast plan then u can lose weight
However I think a lot of ppl get bored just drinking shakes all the time

my friend did it and got fat fast following it 100% she put on weight and then stopped and put on more weight.... so on it went
