If you're lower rank, then you usually are done by 4 or 5, but some units get out earlier on Sunday, like 3p. If you are higher rank, then you sometimes have to stay a little later, but usually no later than a half hour to hour after everyone else.

Depends on the unit. Most units start drilling on a Friday night and finish in the afternoons on Sunday. Technically though the unit doesn't have to release you until midnight on Sunday.

Why? Do you think that its a 9 -5 job?

Sometimes you report on a Friday Afternoon and get home at the wee hours of Monday morning!

If you are in a leadership position, You might have to go in on your own time to get paperwork done or square things away! or to prepare for the next drill, summer camp, special projects, etc....

Well no offense, but if you're worried about maybe staying a little late, then don't join because if you're called to active duty then guess what..........you're gonna be late.
