birth...cancer doesn't discriminate against age or sex...yes even men can get breast cancer...BUT it is more common in older women, that is why women need to start getting yearly mammograms at age 40. But it is not uncommon for women of any age to develop breast cancer. That is why when you get your yearly paps, the doctor does a breast exam. And he or she should also show you how to do self exams so you know if there are any changes...ANY changes should be brought to the attention of your doctor...and don't listen to the "you're too young for that" answer from anyone including your doc....get rid of him or her if they use that to not check..

Anyone at any age with breast tissue can develop breast cancer. The confusion here is one of age. Children can have a primary or secondary breast cancer, but it is a different type than the kind that an older woman may get. Males can also develop breast cancer.
Children and breast problems

"Juvenile Secretory Carcinoma - a rare form of breast cancer in children. "
"Cystosarcoma Phylloides - a rare tumor of the breast that can occur in children. Rapid growing tumor which stretches the breast and the overlying skin. "
"Lymphoma" may spread to the breasts in children.
Teens and young women can also get breast cancer, but it is rare:

Male breast cancer is also rare

The risk of getting breast cancer increases with age. A woman who lives to age 90 has a lifetime risk of about 14.3%, or one in seven.[11] The probability of breast cancer rises with age, but breast cancer tends to be more aggressive when it occurs in younger people. One type of breast cancer that is especially aggressive and that occurs disproportionately in younger people is inflammatory breast cancer. It is initially staged as Stage IIIb or Stage IV. It also is unique because it often does not present with a lump, so it is often undetected by mammography or ultrasound. It presents with the signs and symptoms of a breast infection like mastitis, and the treatment is usually a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

Any form of cancer is possible in anyone at any age.
What changes is your risk factor or chance of getting a particular cancer.
With breast cancer, our risk increases with all of the following factors (and probably a few others)
Female, first degree relative with breast cancer, reached puberty, reached menopause, overweight, etc.
There is no way to guarantee you won't get it, even women who have voluntary, double mastectomies without symptoms have been known to later develop related cancer in the remaining tissue.
Your best option is to learn the correct way to perform a self examination and do one every month, and get your breasts checked by a Dr when you have your regular check ups, pap smear etc.
Caught early, this is a very treatable disease.

There isn't a "youngest possible" age. Breast cancer can arrive at any age, male or female, though it's more often in women and girls.
