how do i break up with a guy?

i care about him so i dont wanna be rude or hurt his feelings bad(i know his feelings r gonna hurt no matter what) but i dont want to be maean and all the other times i broke up with guys i was mean so i need to be nice about it....(im choseing another guy over him if that helps on how to break up with him)

Be honest. Your going to hurt him anyway, but if your honest and explain that you dont think you would work, he might take it a little easier.

Over a period of time you'll need to slow things down from a little to alot...when i say that i mean becoming a little more colder, distant, less patient...

you don't want to break up with this guy out of nowhere especially if he feels secure in the relationship. That would be very inconsiderate and if you care about him just put the signals into place over time.

Have you ever considered talking honestly about the relationship and not beating around-the-bush?

There's no really 'nice' way to break up with a guy, because if you do it too nicely, he will think you didn't break up with him.

You'll have to tell him that it's over and you two are just friends now.

Don't get upset if he gets over you before you get over him, though.

Tell him that you're not interested in pursuing a relationship anymore. It's better to cut him loose now than to take him for a ride.

Just say one of these..."i have been thinking long and hard about us...and i do not feel we are going anywhere"...Just repeat yourself....if he asks questions...instead of saying OK....OR SAY..."i went back with an old boyfriend from years ago.."....or "you know, i just need some time alone...."...repeat yourself...
