Have you ever felt a sweaty dog??? No I haven't either. That is because as others have said they pant to cool themselves instead of sweating. Dogs also dig to find cool earth to lay on and shade to help keep themselves cool. If they can find a water source like a kiddy pool they are apt to take a quick splash to cool themselves as well. Dogs find some pretty ingenious ways to keep cool.

Yep the release heat through panting, but also on the pads of their paws. I don't think dogs actually sweat though, which is why it can be bad to let them overheat in the summer.

They keep their temperature down by panting. That's the way they cool themselves off.
