It sounds more like he was wrongly accused by his girlfriend.

If you want to keep him out of trouble, tell him to stay away from her.

Domestic Violence charges and restraining orders are very serious, and the police have no choice but to arrest and then to use all means necessary to keep the offender away.

If he wants to see the baby, have the girlfriend meet him at the police station, and they can visit there in the lobby. And you or someone else should go with him to make sure that there are no problems.

If you want to discuss the problem with someone, I would suggest that you contact the District Attorney in the county where your grandson was arrested.

People tend to reap what they sow. He needs to stay the heck away from that girl. If he wants to see the child then he needs to get a court order declaring when he can see the child and needs to be smart about how he arranges to get the child.

Your grandson was not wrongly accused by the Police. I doubt he was wrongly accused by anyone if he was sentenced to three weeks in one case and made a plea deal in another. I know it is sometimes hard to accept that the people you love sometimes screw up but the fact is that they do.

Tell your grandson to follow the advice I posted above and steer clear of this girl. He's eighteen with a child already. Its time to get serious...........his childhood is over.

CGIV has some good points to.

this could be a uk case and that i'm no longer familiar with rules there. i became an officer interior the U.S. for 30 yrs and could advise here. touch the Police dept that made the checklist and ask if any quotes have been filed with the prosecutor's place of work. Ask for a replica of the checklist. in the event that they have, touch an criminal expert to coach your protection. on the comparable time tell them which you opt to place quotes against the different females, (and her spouse), for trespass and disturbing the peace. Have a itemizing of persons that have been witness to the incident(s) and how they may well be contacted. tell them, whilst they take the checklist, which you're keen to press the charges against the females and her chum! in basic terms the prosecutor, the guy submitting the cost, or the Police could drop the case.

he wasn't wrongly accused by the police. the g.f. pressed charges. she has a restraining order against him. thats what it means no contact. sounds like shes setting him up? if he wants to see his child tell him to go to an attorney bend over grab his ankles and get ready to pay big time and go to court and get visitation rights. good luck!!!!!!

your grandson is not being wrongly charged.
you need to help him see he needs to change his ways or he will be locked up permanently.
you need to help your grandson follow the laws and abide by court instructions or this will just get worse.
