It really depends on the mood and the people I'm around...classic rock, country music from the early 90's and before (something everyone knows the words to), and 80's hair bands (Motley Crue, Poison, Cinderella, etc.) set the good mood to get a little buzzed with my friends and family...

My personal choice: (not only when i'm drunk)
Metallica and System Of A Down. No emotional love songs for me! Nor country, vocal or anything instrumental that excludes drums, bass and guitars!

Well it depends on why I began drinking in the first place. I usually like to listen to Classic Rock. If I was already sad before hand I will listen to classic country.

Hi, ha ha ha, it depended, since this of course happened before and not anymore, ha ha ha, well if the mode is happy I play heavy rock, like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep etc, must be from the 70`s. ha ha ha , if going sentimental, wow, "who wants to live forever" is great of "I`m not in love" 10cc. even worse Memories ha ha ha, if before going out, then I go mad and listen to Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Pagans Mind, Strapping Young Lad, Pantera, Zakk Wylde anything fast and heavy. And of course loud. If I am with my woman though, I do play a little more relaxed maybe, but not that much as she is just as heavy metal ha ha ha, that said we love Mannfred Mann`s Earth Band, the Beatles of course, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, Sarah Brightman, you name it. As a musician, I never gets tired of it, and I never stop being amazed by it, you never stop learning music you know, there is always more to learn, ha ha ha. Have a great summer, peace and love from Norway
