Hi, I'm moving to Charleston, SC next week for Nuke Power School for the Navy, doing the Do It Yourself move. But I'm really confused as to what steps to take to make sure which paperwork gets to the right people. Thank you.

unless everything you own fits in the back of a small U haul.. DO NOT DO A DITY. waaaaayyyyyy too much pain and hassle.

first you weigh the truck empty, then full.. after packing everything yourself. then you have to turn every scarp of receipt into t Personal Property and wait to be reimbursed.

I don't know where you're stationed now, but you need to go to the Transportation Office at your duty station. They'll walk you through it. Why are you doing a DITY move? Why not have the professionals do it?

your transportation office should have told you

smartwebmove is where all the info you need is at.

most importanbt part, weigh the vehicles empty, full of your stuff, and at your destination.
