Overall you shouldn't have somone just for the sake of having someone, you'll find that it makes you miserable very quickly when you just settle for anyone.
I prefer to have a boyfriend because I'm a loving person, but I'm not going to be with someone just so I'm not alone. I made that mistake once and I won't do it again. However when I am single I just spend more time with friends and pick up extra hobbies. I grew up an only child so I don't mind being by myself. When I was a senior in high school and started my first year of college I just focused on school and getting to know myself better you change a lot during that time. Whether you're single or not I think it's very important to have alone time and nights out with friends.

It's nice to have someone....but not necessarily 'better'. It depends on each individual person and where they are in their life at the time. For several years, it was better for me to not have someone in my life. I wasn't at that place in my life that I could have given 100% to a relationship.
Not that has changed and my life is better with someone in it now that I can and wait to put my attention into a relationship.

It is definitly better to be by yourself...you don't have to worry about anybody else but yourself....nobody to nag you, complaining, worrying if they are cheating or not,if they are still attacted to you or not, worrying if they are just happy with you overall or not . ....Being with someone is a HUGE pain in the a ss definitly not worth it if you ask me. Enjoy being single honey ...there is too much to do in this world to think about being bogged down by a freakin' relationship. You can go where you want , when you want, wear what you want, stay how long you want, and you have THE CHOICE of whether you want to take someone along to experience these things with you ...or not. You don't have anyone asking you ....where are you going?,when are you gonna be back?, what are you gonna be doing?, can i come with you?(keep in mind ...you might not wanna be bothered with anybody ...just chillin' by yourself ).....there ar so many reasons to stay single. I can sum it all up in one word....CHOICES !!!!!!!! Think about it.

No, it is not necessarily better. If you have someone and you're miserable because you are constantly worried about how they feel about you or what they're doing when they aren't with you, then that is unnecessary heartache.
On the other hand, if you're both happy and confident together, then obviously, it is better to have someone in your life.

difficult question really it depends on the person. now i've been on my own most of my life so that's what i'm used to so if i don't enjoy the company of the girl i'm with i'd rather be on my own, interestingly enough it took more then a few relationships to figure that out too. having someone is nice but having someone who makes you simle is better and worth waiting for if need be

I have been with people who made me feel like I was alone. I have been with people who made me wish I was alone. Now I am with someone who makes me hope I am never alone again. When it is right you know it and you should never just settle. Loneliness is bad sometimes, but true love is worth waiting for. If you are with someone just to be with someone, you run the very real risk of missing out out on the perfect someone.

Okay this might sound kind of confusing but............
I would rather have no one than someone, because I want to spend my time waiting for the perfect one instead of wasting my time on the "someones" haha

it would be nice to have someone you can love and care about. but if no such person exists in your life, it'd be better to be alone than to pick some random person that you don't give an F about to be with.
