i weigh about 132 right now. i am trying to get to 150, i have been working out a lot for the past 2 years but i can never seem to gain any muscle. I am also a vegetarian i think thats why i cant gain muscle. but i know tobey maguire is a vegetarian too and he gained a lot of muscle when he was doing spiderman. he ate tofu and almonds or something. if anybody knows can you please get back to me.

Protein's essential.

Go to a Rite Aid or something, they sell protein bars and shakes.. The bars and shakes usually have alot of other vitamins and nutrients that help too. It's kinda expensive though..

Here are some suggestions for muscle gain:

1. Do some weightlifting
2. Buy some muscle building protein shakes
3. Buy some regular protein shakes
4. Do some jump rope
5. Work out on the treadmill

work out approximately 5 to six days a week not extra, consume stuff like peanut butter which intense in protein straight away after the work out and likewise run afterwards to sweat off the amino-acids

nuts are not a good source of protein - although they do have protein in them they are considered as a source of healthy fats.
you can get protein from whey protein powder which you take wright after working out and also in the morning, from soy products, milk products and legumes (beans and peas). you can also eat egg whites.
