When things in the Universe work they are often invisible, the laws of motion and Universal gravitation are notorious examples of this through out our known history, yet they appear boringly obvious to us now. Newton's genius was seeing what is so evident as to be unseeable. Each leap in science has made manifest a working that is cloaked by its very success. When it comes to the laws of Universe and all it could possibly contain one repeats over and again, that is: Never let them see it at all, make them deduce the existence. Indeed the laws of the Universe are never directly observable, so then we have no other way of discovering them except by deduction. What works in the living community is similarly cloaked by its success. The basic laws of ecology have the beauty and simplicity of a fairy tale, but their existence only began to be suspected a century ago. What merit then does "Faith" have in this equation and how applicable is it to the generation rising to take the future power?

Unquestioned faith can be a blindfold, blocking truths from those who refuse to see them. Scientific dogma can have the same effect. The question can easily become what is reason, and when is it "reasonable"?

The thing is that neither faith nor reason can answer every question. As Isaac Newton knew, the surer path to wisdom is the one that has room for both." Faith and science are opposed ... but only in the same sense as that in which my thumb and forefinger are opposed, and between the two, one can grasp everything.

For people of faith it will always be the driving force behind all we/I do!

Without faith I am nothing and it is the reason that I have any direction, so how can it not be the integral part of any society? Be careful not to get yourself beaten down by the garbage that the social progressives in our society want you to believe. God is still in ultimate control. The cursed creation is falling apart as it is supposed to. It must be redeemed as well when the Lord Jesus returns.

God said that His people will "live" by faith. What He is actually saying is, His people will THRIVE if they live by faith. In my own life faith has paid off enormously. It is a jewel I would not trade for anything. You see you can have wealth but if you had to sacrifice your sweet spouse, child or grandchild for ANY amount of wealth would you? Faith is priceless!

I believe faith is more a personal thing than something of society.
