Actually the studies on polyphenol's health usually only apply to individuals over 40 years old.

But there is still some good health benefit for all people regardless of age.

Many studies that have been published over the past 10 years show that any alcohol (booze, beer, wine) has some good health benefit. But of course this is for moderate drinkers only. {1-2 drinks per day for women; 2-3 drinks for men}
But indeed red wine contains the largest amount of polyphenols and so have the best benefits to offer.

So, yes your blush wine is going to have some health benefit but only in moderation and considering the context above.

Enjoy

No. The health benefits come from the skin of the grapes. Pink wines are made from red grapes but have minimal contact with the skins.

Pink zin is classified as a white wine and I've never seen a pink merlot. Find a nice cabernet sauvignon.

In my book, they hardly even count as wine, more like a liquid pixie stick. Try a nice Pinot Noir if you don't like the heavier reds.
