Well Egypt is a real place. Rome really ruled that part of the world. Some of the cities are real. Outside that?
Added: Noah's Ark? ---now that's funny.

That was probably me. Sorry for being so vague. But here's some evidence that has been found:
They have found old papyrus in which Scriptures were found. There is evidence that a flood occured, plus there is speculation about Noah's ark.
It is amazing how the Bible, before scientists knew it, had actually stated that the Earth was, in fact, not squared but round. >>"He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in" (Isaiah 40:22, NIV). << Scientists have had to admit this to be true.
>>An inscription at a Roman theater in Caesarea Martima reading, "Pontius Pilate, prefect of Judea". Which proves that Pilatus did exist and Jesus was indeed crucified.
>>An inscription found in Northern Israel mentioning King David's dynasty. The inscription is the oldest reference to any Biblical figure outside the Bible.
>>Israeli archeologists have uncovered a 1st century cave, in a suburb south of Jerusalem, which served as a tomb to a family of disciples of Jesus Christ.
>>The burial cave, carved in the mountainside, off the Kidron Valley, contained several coffins, with names engraved on their sides, as well as signs of the cross. These inscriptions identified the cave as the burial vault of the Barsabas family. This family is well known to us, since several of its members are mentioned in the book of Acts. The tomb remained hidden for nearly 2000 years.
There's so much evidence out there. You can look it up if you want.

Well the Bible mentions that the Earth is susspened in the Air with nothing holding it up, and that it is a sphere. At that point and even centuries later people often thought the world was flat or on somethings back.
In Psalms detailed accounts of the human body are mentioned by David, scientists now know these facts to be true.
There are many other such instances.

Some of the material in the later parts of the Old Testament matches historical findings. But the bulk of the book is fiction. One obvious example is the Flood, which anyone with a shovel and the ability to count can see is false: the annual layers of the Antarctic ice cap go back hundreds of thousands of years. (A flood would have destroyed them.) For more of this, see:

The Earth is Round
for centuries, man believed that the earth was flat- but not the Bible.
People in the 15th century feared sailing because they thought they would fall over the edge of the flat earth. Yet the Bible revealed the truth more than 1,000 years before man discovered it for himself.
It took a long time for science to discover what was recorded in the Bible more than 2,500 years ago. Copernicus invented the first globe in 1475 to demonstrate that the earth is a sphere. Galileo constructed the first astronomical telescope which he used to study the sky. Columbus believed the sphericity of the earth with his voyage to North America in 1492. Finally, Magellan and his men sailed around the earth and thus proved it to be spherical in shape. This major event did not occur until the 15th century.
The fact of a spherical earth was clearly proclaimed in the Bible by the prophet Isaiah nearly twenty eight centuries ago. In chapter 40 verse 22 of the book of Isaiah we read:
“It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.”
When Isaiah wrote this verse he used the Hebrew word “khug” to describe the shape of the earth. Although this word is commonly translated into the English word “circle,” the literal meaning of this word is “a sphere.” It is also used in Proverbs 8:27
“When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
The word “khug” is here translated “compass” referring to surface of the ocean taking on a spherical shape.
The earth is also said to be spherical in other Bible verses like Job 26:10, and Amos 9:6:
“He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.”
“It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.”
The Bible has shown itself to be scientifically accurate in another observation cited by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA):
According to Mr. Elmor Escosia, Chief of a Planetarium Unit here Manila, during the early period, the proof that the earth is round is during the observation of a lunar eclipse, because during a lunar eclipse, you will find the one covering the moon is a round object and that round object is the earth.
As Mr. Escosia said, the earth’s shadow always takes a circular bite out of the moon during a lunar eclipse, which would only be possible with a spherical earth.
This scientific principle is just one of the evidences that demonstrate the Bible’s historical accuracy… a discovery that proves how authentic the Bible is.

Well archeologist found the tomb of Jesus, his mother Mary and a few other family members. But the Christians deny that it is "their" Jesus because to accept it would be to accept the fact that he was just a man, he live as any other man, died, and was buried, just like any other man.
So, if they don't accept this as the tomb of Jesus, then there is no proof that he ever existed!
