not sure where you are based but there are laws regarding level of noise...the thing is the FIRST thing that leapt to mind as I read your question was this WAS the church there BEFORE you moved in..........if so basically you do not have a leg to stand on.
There is a night club that WAS at one point on the outskirts of town then with all these people buying up land and building ended up surrounded by houses...........and the residents started legal action against the club for noise and all that good stuff...you know what they LOST !!!! and quite rightly so when there is ALREADY a mega nightclub and you build your house not 50 ft from it then you do NOT have the right to whinge about the noise after the fact.
You might find that this applies in your case.........

No, churches are exempt from noise ordinances but times are usually set as to when bells may toll. In some instances those ordinances are exempted for special occasions such as the death of a sitting or former president, or special holidays.

When you start to squalk about it LOL-the neighbors will think you are lonely and need to get a life. The cops will consider you to be a nuisance
I wouldnt recommend making this an issue.

Depends on where you live and what kind, if any, noise ordnance's are on the books.... there is no general rule or law.
