From personal experience, i am goin to tell you that you dont want to purchase anything like car insurance, apartment/ house together, cell phone bills, joint bank accounts unless you are married!!!!! even then, if you get a divorce, its still an ugly situation. No matter how PERFECT you think you are together, wait a few years before doin anything like that. Why cant he get his own? If its a gift, go to his insurance office with him and pre pay whatever amount you wanted to on HIS insurance that is under his name. GOOD LUCK

Highly unlikely. First, you need to own a car. The person who owns the car gets the insurance. The insurance covers those who are on the policy. My insurance company asks to see your license. If your boyfriend needs insurance, he should get his own. You may get a policy that covers anyone who drives the car but it is expensive. Trying to get around the system can be expensive if you get caught such as an accident they refuse to cover due to untruths told when getting the policy.
