The best man at my wedding is Muslim. He's been my friend since we were in first grade. Mo, he is like a brother to me. His Mom and Dad were like a surrogate family.
I'm not one of those people who hate Muslims.

I have read the Quran and don't believe that Mohammed is the prophet. I don't impose my beliefs on Mo though I do wish he would believe what I believe. We say to each other we'll find out who's right when we die. The other will vouch for the other when the time comes, whoever is right.

If the Mormans are right, or the Scientologists, we're both screwed.

You'll find that the majority of the people on the planet don't hate Muslims. People who don't understand are leery, but on the whole they don't hate. The ones that do hate are a lot louder though. Let this thought give you some peace.

I don't hate even those that are well known terrorist and terrorist leaders. Hate will damage me more than I will be able to damage them, so it's a waste of time.

Regarding the rest of the Muslims, what I will never be able to understand is the *silence* you all keep toward what those terrorist do. If I pride myself on being a "peace and love" person, as you all do, why not speaking publicly against those that are hurting your religion so much???

The ones really hating and hurting Islam and the good Muslims are the terrorists, not the rest of us.

But, if what you consider "hate" is clearing out all those lies about "Islam being founded by Ishmael" and that "Jesus was a Muslim", then you're having and will have lots of problems, because no one in it's right mind will ever accept as true such bogus claims. Stop such silly lies, no way we will bite into them.

No one hates Muslims my friend, we dislike Islam. We see what it is doing to the world and we fear total annihilation because Islam is out of control. If the people of Islam would stand up and take back their faith and stop all their hatred and violence, the world would be much safer and peaceful.
Why aren't Muslim countries stopping Syria and Iran from continuing the bloodshed in Iraq? Why does the USA have to come over there in the first place? Why can't Muslims settle their own disputes through peaceful negotiations? I see too many Muslim countries sitting back and simply watching Iran and Syria threaten Israel and I hear no Muslims complaining about it. I don't hate Muslim people, I am totally opposed to Islam and Muslim Goverments. It is the same with Adolf Hitler, I do not hate the German people because of him, however, they assume some responsibility for putting him in power. No one hates you, we only wish you could settle your disputes peacefully. History shows us otherwise and we are simply tired of all the war and bloodshed. God Bless You.

Hate isn't the correct word; fear is. All we hear and read is about violence toward almost all, even their own. Rarely do we hear anyone stand up against the radicals which makes us think that they have their approval. When the Jews were being killed in Germany, same thing. Hardly a voice was raised. We read that the goal of Muslims is to have the whole world be of their faith or be killed. I don't know what is true but without voices of opposition I will have to go with the media.

I don't hate "groups" of people, I get to know people on an individual basis. And I certainly don't hate Muslims, some Muslims have done bad things, but people in all different groups have done bad things so I don't think it's right to stereotype them and dislike the whole group because of a few people. Some people just love to generalize or are influenced by what they see in the media, or are just plain hateful, but as long as you know who you are, then their opinions shouldn't matter.

When confronted by complex threats, we overly simplify...we stereotype. I have an extremely intelligent friend who was highly suspicious of all Muslims until I took him on a three-day vacation with a Muslim family that lives in Indonesia. His views changed 180 degrees. We humans CAN learn.

Do you give money to your mosque or to other Muslim charities, and do you know exactly what it is used for? Do you speak out against terrorism when with other Muslims? Do you support the peaceful existence of Israel ? Answer these questions and see if you don't support the killers in your religion.

Not all people hate Muslims...some people are just ignorant and don't know any better. They assume that all Muslims behave like the radical Muslims. Its hard to change the minds of people who are so close minded.

Okay, I think a big part of the problem is too many people believe all the propaganda our Government shoves down our throats. I believe most people all around the world are generally good and just trying to make their way in life. They are too busy trying to feed their families to hate others like our War- loving government would have us believe.

It's regretful but easy to group all Muslims into one category. The reason I make this mistake is because I forget that not all Muslims are terrorist. The reason I forget is every terrorist is a Muslim. Or not all Muslims are terrorist but all terrorist are Muslims. Considering the last six years when it comes to Muslims I choose to say they are guilty until they can prove their innocence.
