I was wondering the same thing. It reminds me of when they dropped the green flag at Lowe's a year or two ago with safety trucks still on the back straight.

Well yeah, You are Right, I never thought about it but u r very right! Another thing that I thought was pathetic was on the Bush Race last nite. When the guy got hit in the pits, I think it STINKS that everyone/everything simply went on as if Nothing had happened! For all we or anyone else knew this man could have been fatally injured! They should have red lighted at the very least, until he was picked up. In my opinion anyway.

That was a bad call that could have gotten a lot of people hurt besides Dale Jr.

yes i agree with that. there could of been a mess in the pits but thank goodness there wasnt.where was nascars head on that one? bad call for sure.

well, caution was out so they opened the pits. yes, jr was sitting there helpless, but the other drivers did a good job getting around jr.

because espn had another commercial planned in a few minutes and nascar wanted to hget atleast 1 pit stop on t.v.

I think everyone felt he was going to make it behind the wall and all of the sudden his car just stopped. I don't anyone wanted it to happen but it was too late to do anything else.
