I know alot of you have heard me say in my questions that my dog listens to me on command. Except when it involves other people. She doesn't respect me as her leader when theres someone outside in the other yard. Or even if people are walking down the road. She's gotten hit by a car before because of this. Does anything have any ideas to make my dog stop running out into the road/ into my neighbors yard after them or their dogs? Another thing, she refuses to go to the bathroom on a leash, and my parents are too lazy to take her out on a leash anyway. So any answer besides a leash will help.

Since you are unwilling to train your dog with a leash, your only option is to put up a fence.

If you can't put up a fence, surrender the dog before it ends up road pizza.

Ever thought about fencing in your yard? It's amazing stuff. My dog stays inside our backyard that's fenced in. No worries, unless... someone opens the gate and forgets to close it. Just noticed your addition to your question... Yes, fencing is expensive. If I were you, I'd give the dog up for adoption. That's pretty much the only option that you have left, since you seem unwilling to train the dog with a leash and your parents are "too lazy" to help with her.

You need a fence or invisible fence if there not willing to walk her. If you can't do that it may be best to give the dog to someone who can provide a safer home. Running in the streets and into neighbors yards is not okay, obviously because she has been hit by a car.You can not be lazy if you have a pet, they require a lot of responsibility, there just like children.
