Would you rather have a female who is very strong and independent and doesn't ask for help, or it is more of a turn on when a girl needs to have you around for things? Personally, I never let guys help me and I wonder if maybe it would make them feel good to let them help me.

A little of both. Its nice to needed and everyone gets satisfaction in being useful.
On the other hand, I also want someone who will also be able to help me. Be strong, be independent, but also be considerate and don't be thick-headed.
Relationships are about partnerships.

Obviously I'm not a guy.. but here is my boyfriends answer :)
To be completely independent is a turn off because then the guy doesn't feel needed at all, but the other extreme is just as bad when a guy is needed constantly it kind of drives him insane. So somewhere in the middle would be ideal.

We men enjoy a girlie girl who wants our protection and help. If you like to be independent, that's fine, but let your man take the lead in certain things.
Let him be the man in the relationship and you will have a lasting relationship.

I definitely would like an independent girl who can stand on her own two feet and is responsible etc.
However, if she came to me for emotional support too, like when she is crying or upset, that , coupled with her independence would be my perfect combination.
So, to answer your question, a bit of both, but not too far to one extreme or the other is what I would prefer.

A little of both. If a girl is so perfect that she doesn't need me for anything then why is she with me in the first place? If she needs me for everything, then what she really needs is a daddy and not a boyfriend.

I hate women who think they can do it all by themselves. The point of being in a relationship with someone, is to be a partnership, to rely on the other for things. Without that reliance, the relationship really has no foundation.

I definitely like it when a girl needs me, i never mind helping her out or doing little things for her. Or when she is scared acts like i can protect her and gets close to me, its a since of being needed thats nice.

Let the guy help, occasionally. It will make him feel good, and you will both know what's really going on.
That being said, needy girls are no good. It's much nicer when you both sort of know that the girl is just "playing girly" once in a while.
