Perhaps some warm mineral oil. I have always found that a very warm mix of peroxide and water, allowed to "work" ( it tingles nicely) for 4-5 minutes, will work the wax loose. Use an eyedropper to get the liquid into the ear.

I do the peroxide bit but then I get into a tub of good hot water with a large syringe or bulb syringe. I soak making sure my ears fill with water, and after several minutes I begin to forcfully inject the same water into my ears. This works every time for me.

Get some "Sweet Oil" from your local pharmacy , it helps loosen up the wax and gunk in your ear !
I have been having trouble with both of mine and thats what the doctor suggested to me ! He also gave me a Hypodermic Syringe and told me to fill it with warm water and spray it into my ears gently. I do it when I bathe or shower !

You can used vinegar its good for anything that you have inside. Vineger can evaporate more rapidly than peroxide and if you have an infection it will eliminated it. And if you are going to do it mix it up with water.
