We own a black lab. She is in the house with us all the time and loves company. She follows my wife around the house from room to room. Your dog is lonely if you keep him outside. He just wants to be with you.

Labradors love other dogs. YOur dog may need a constant companion. This might sound a little off topic, but I used to have Guinea Pigs. (they were really boring) anyway, the first one i had was really small and would not eat and was thin. He just seemed depressed. I bought a companion for him the he just got better really quickly. This may be what you lab needs(not a guinea pig) but another dog ambe even another lab. Hope this helps and good luck

Is your dog kept outside or inside with you?

Labs crave human attention and need to be indoors with their families.

Bring your dog inside with you, and a vet visit is also recommended to be sure your dog doesn't have a medical issue. Most labs love to eat, and it sounds like he could be sick and in pain, as well as lonely.

He shouldn't be outside - dogs are pack animals - you are the pack.

Keep him inside with you and treat him like the family he should be.

you can try to keep him with you all the time.
Or pay alot of attention to him except when he is supposed to eat.
He will get hungry enough he will eat on his own.
Then when he does reward him
he will catch on.
Labs are very smart dogs.
But they will also attatch themselves to you quickly and for somethings thats not hte best.

Well bring him inside, how would you like it if someone you loved kept you away from them, he wants to be part of your life, let him inside and be part of your life, you will not regret it.
