Okay so I am planning on having plain white tulle circles with some personalized ribbon for tying...I am a little confused and undecided on what to put in them. My fiance and I dont care much for jordon almonds. but we were thinking of putting pastel buttermint creams in the the circle, but then I was thinking should I put m&ms in them? or a mixture of treats? or just keep it simple and just go with the buttermint creams....

also our wedding is planned for october next year and are on a buget...so chocolate treats wouldnt melt...any ideas or comments?

Thank you for all of the responses. all of your ideas are great! which has expanded my thoughts a little. Also thank to those who kept a budget in mind. I will not be doing the m&ms although they are cute and would be nice. They are just to much to spend on a wedding favor. Thanks again. And picking the best answer was not easy.

The buttermint creams would be fine, but I've only seen them in pastels colors, so for a fall wedding, you may want to use something else. Hershey kisses are wrapped in fall colors (in the fall). If you watch the sales papers and use coupons, you can get them pretty cheap. When my daughter got married in May , I waited until after Easter and went to CVS and bought bags of pastel color wrapped Hershey kisses for 1/2 off. We put them into an organza bag and tied it with a pink or lavendar ribbon (her wedding colors). They looked really nice and were very inexpensive. You can also buy MM's in fall colors. The personalized M&M's are really expensive. If you're on a budget, you'll probably want to stay away from those. Good luck and best wishes!!

Hersheys Hugs and Kisses?!? Or the personalized M n M's... chocolate covered coffee beans... You COULD just do the buttermint creams if you wanted, but they are more eastery then fall... My wedding is next october (havent quite thought of favors yet) and I want it to have a fallish theme... keep your theme in mind, if you dont really have one go eith the mints... It will be more cost effective also!! Good luck!!!

I would go with the m&m's or put a mixture of hershey's kisses. You could also use the tulle and ribbon to make sachets using potpourri. You could get some different scents and put cards on them that say something like "Love is the Spice of Life" for cinnamon, "Love in Bloom" for a floral scent. "A perfect pair(pear)" for pear scented, etc.

You can put your favorite nuts and attach a tag that says "Nuts about each other".
OR you can also put heart-shaped mints, which costs $9.25/lb per pound (650 hearts)
OR jelly beans are good too.
All of these don't melt so you can wrap them up way ahead of your wedding

You could wrap just one Ferraro Rocher hazelnut chocolate in the tulle. This would be a little more impressive and unique. Also, what about those new candy coated mini kisses? Those are delish and you could put a cute kiss related message on it. I think that so many things have been overdone...it's your wedding...stand out a bit! :-)

I'm going to put Lindt chocolates in mine. The different flavors are wrapped in different colors. So you could make the colors match your wedding. You should try them. Even if you don't get the for your wedding they are delicious. You can buy them at Target in the candy aisle.

i like the personalized M&M idea in your colors and buy a packet of fall leaves @ the craft store and tie a few into the ribbon to dress them up. you could also incorporate them into your centerpieces by making your arrangements w/ the same leaves and a hollow in the center and stacking the favors in there.

I think buttermint creams would be fine but I also like the jelly bean idea. Since you are on a budget I wouldn't suggest the personalized M&M's since they can be a bit expensive but it's ncie if you can afford it.

Everyone loves chocolate mints, get nice quality ones and use those, then if people are having a coffee they can enjoy a chocolate mint along with it.

You can order M&M's with you and your grooms initals printed on them. (The info is on their M&M website) We ordered some that way and added a hersheys kiss to help fill them up. They were cute and different..... how about buttercreams, the specialty m&m's and a hersheys kiss?????? I am sure that whatever you decide on will work out just fine!
