I'm looking for a fun, unique, and creative way to display the table assignment place cards for my wedding reception. Any thoughts?

The wedding is this September...no theme, the colors are apple red and chocolate brown.

can you afford mini picture frames? then it can double as a seat card and wedding favor. :)

My husband, my family and I went to a wedding in Seattle last night and when we walked into the reception there wer cards on a table printed with our names on them, and under our names, the name of the table we were assigned to. It made it easier for people to find where they were supposed to sit instead of looking for their names by going around to all the tables.

I watched a wedding show on TV where the couple had their tables named "Love " in different languages .
On the outside of the paper was the persons name and inside was the name of the table they were sitting at.
Example " Susan Smith"
"Amore "
The couple also had a board set of of the words and what language they were in.
It was very nice.

Since your colors are apple red, and the theme is apples, why don't you make little leaves, and attach them to apples. (real or fake)
Or you could attach them to labels on chocolate bars. They can double as a favor.

on a chinese take out box and the box was collected and cake and desser samples were put in them.

Don't have cards. Make your favor the actual place card. You could frame them in little silver frames or attach them to those little frames with clips on them. Make ornaments with their names on them and hang them from ornament trees.

I used fairy tale love story characters. Each table was a set of characters.
