That seems a little delusional, doesn't it?

Why don't you just attribute all the good things that have happened to you by your successes?

That's a question that keeps turning up not only on Yahoo! but in all the theology books ever written.

The short answer is, if you don't see God, then you're not looking.

The longer answer is, God makes himself known all the time. But it's the same as it was with the Jews 21 hundred something yrs ago. God is making himself known, but we're looking for the wrong things.

What do you want to see when you say you want to see God? Some old white guy with a long beard wearing white robes? C'mon, cut him some slack: even God hates a tired cliche.

God is spirit, Jesus is ressurected and so is on a spiritual plane too. It takes spiritual eyes to see spiritual things and modern man today is trained to see religion as superstition and science as the answer to every question.

God's there. Maybe it's just a matter of expecting to see the right epiphany.

See "all that he has given you"? That's like asking your goldffish in his bowl if he can see the water. It's all around you, sustaining you at every breath, every move. The reasons you can't see it might be more about you than about God.

Hello first let me explain God's Word what faith really is in
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. You see the Holy Bible was written over a 1500 year period by 44 authors and yet despite claims it does not disagree with itself, and 30% is prophecy much of which fulfilled plus changed lives there is TOO MUCH proof and in Heb.1:5-9 The Father Himself address Jesus as God in Heb.13:8 Jesus has always been from all of time past to all of time future, Jesus in John first chapter created this world and us, and that is not a delusional but to believe we just happened and no one designed this world and believe satan's lie that God or satan does not exist and that humans who we are now discovering that we are just TOO complex to have just happened that we are just accidents WOW now that would make me question you as being a little "delusional" free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless.

NO, It is not...We Christians have what is called faith. It is the evidence of things yet hoped for and things yet not seen. You can see Gods Love in all the things that He has done for us. All of creation, the skies, the birds, animals ...newborns, all good things.

It does SEEM delusional, but not for people who are very religious. Mostly, we just have faith that Jesus and God DO exist. Good, honest faith.

First things first

God is spirit....

God works through man. We see gods love whenever we love one another. Thats why jesus said it was so important to love one another. because god is seen through that.

What is love?

Good luck with that one. to me in Chistianity it seems to theme off of how willing is someone willing to suffer for somebody else. jesus set the example by dying for our sins. and gave many parables about sacrifice towards your brother in real and tangible ways.

So in essence whenever we love each other we experience god. Why? because god is love. what is not love is not of god.

Thats supernatural love

Through one word... Faith. Faith is the way we see God. Just because you cant see wind doesnt mean that it isnt there. My suggestion is to talk to God about it. Read the Bible about Faith. The Bible will give you more, better answers than people on yahoo.

I can see my husband and I truly believe that God directed him into my path. Many other ways I have seen God too. Being healed by him, etc.

If I sent you clothes when you were in need, and you did not see me, does that mean I couldn't do these acts of love?

You see it in the purity of a child and in the good works that men and women do. It is indirect evidence, but evidence nonetheless.
