Im buying my first car..YAY...anyways I will get a way better price (think $10k less) by purchasing the car at another dealorship within the US. (I live outside the US...but within a US territory) If something happens to this car and it needs servicing, should my warranty still be effective even if I didnt buy the car at this dealorship??

If you are talking about an extended warranty on a used car, It should be. Even the dealership that sold you the warranty bills the company that sponsors the extended warranty you bought, but to be safe, ask the dealership if the company does business in whatever terretory you live in.

If it's a new car, the warranty is good at any dealership that sells the same line of cars.

Yes. But the new dealer may give you a hard time about covering the warranty. This is a common problem with anything that is bought at one place and you try to get it fixed under warranty somewhere else.

Don't despair though because if they do give you a ration of bull, just call the customer care number in your owners manual and tell them what the problem is. It is even more effective if you do this right in front of the new dealer on your cell phone. They have an agreement with the manufacturer to cover any and all warranty work. That is why they respond so fast to a call to customer service department at the national office.

Factory warranties will follow the vehicle. No matter where you go. It's good. Congratulations on the new car.
