A guy I recently met through a friend is a super nice and caring guy. I spent a weekend out at the lake with a group of friends, he was there. I live pretty far away, so I don't get to see them often. When I got home I wanted to write him a note thanking him for being so nice to me and making me feel welcome with a bunch of new people. To my surprise he wrote back:
"haha um i dont know bout me being super nice but u are like for sure the nicest person i've ever met and i hope u come back sometime...the lake was awesome but it wouldnt have been as fun if u wouldnt have been there but i guess take care and maybe i'll see again sometime"
What is that supposed to mean? Does he like me, or is it just him being friendly? I wrote him a message back on Wed saying thanks and that I might be back in the area soon, but I haven't gotten any reply back which makes me think he is just being friendly and nothing more.
What do you think of the situation?! I am confused! Thanks - AW

I think this guy really likes you,he wrote you a letter;not many people do that.Give him a chance...Best wishes

hes being friendly but i think ther is a lil more 2 that note than just friendship. Gud luck

youre friend says he's really nice....well this is what a nice person would write...if he was interested he would have set something up or supplied u with a #......and he most certainly would have called or written you back....anyway there's plenty out there find someone closer

maybe he was be friendly or he just does not know how to say that he likes you to.. it is hard to tell on guys if they like you or not...

hewrote you note saying he likes you now if you are there he would like to see you its sounds like but distance boyfriend girl firend things are hardworking. but i can work.

I wouldn't know whether he likes you or not.
Only beware that he doesn't get you into his
bed and then ditch you.
